Abstract

Introduction to The Problem: Education of Islamic spiritual values in early childhood is an important aspect in forming their character and morals. However, the challenge of teaching these values effectively in a fun and easy-to-understand educational environment is often a problem. This research aims to explore appropriate teaching strategies. Purpose: The aim of this research is to explore and analyze strategies for teaching Islamic spiritual values to young children, as well as to understand effective ways of instilling deep religious values in their daily lives. Design/methods/approach: This research is a library study, collecting data from primary and secondary documents relevant to the topic. It uses a qualitative approach to describe and analyze phenomena, social activities, and perceptions of individuals or groups. Data was gathered through documentation, followed by analysis in three stages: data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. Findings: The research findings on strategies for teaching Islamic spiritual values to early childhood reveal that an integrated approach combining Islamic stories, songs, poetry, visual media, and daily activities is highly effective. Using stories of the Prophet and companions, daily prayers, and educational games helps children learn fundamental Islamic concepts in an engaging manner. Through these activities, children develop a deeper understanding of values like compassion, honesty, and gratitude. The results highlight the significance of fostering a holistic educational environment, ensuring a seamless connection between home and school in nurturing spiritual growth. Research implications/limitations: The implications of this research show the importance of a holistic and creative approach in teaching Islamic spiritual values to early childhood. However, limitations lie in the lack of sample variability and limited cultural context. Further research is needed to explore the effectiveness of this method in various social and cultural settings. Originality/value: The originality of this research lies in developing a strategy for teaching Islamic spiritual values that is integrated with a fun and experience-based approach for early childhood. This research offers an innovative method that combines stories, songs and poetry, technology, and habituation, which can help children understand and internalize religious values more effectively.
